Prabasa Vet brings vets to your home across Greater Jakarta. Your pet is examined without the stress of travel, and you skip the clinic queue.
Prabhāsa (प्रभास) is a Sanskrit word that means light, radiance, or the gentle glow at sunrise. In classical literature, it is associated with healing and clarity, the moment when darkness lifts and you can finally see what is in front of you.
That is the spirit we bring to home visits. Owners often live in the dark when their pet falls sick, Is this urgent? Is it serious? Will it pass on its own? Our job is to bring light into that uncertainty: a calm professional consultation, clear next steps, and care that respects your pet as an individual.
The visual identity reflects this, coral sun rays radiating behind a stylized "P" with a paw at the center. Healing light, rising.
Most home visit services in Indonesia rely on just one or two vets for a wide area, so response times are slow and schedules are limited. We work differently.
Share where you live and what is going on with your pet. Free initial assessment, no obligation.
Our partner veterinarians are spread across many areas of Jabodetabek. We connect you to the closest one so response is faster and travel is shorter.
Physical exam, vital signs, history-taking, and a clear treatment plan. Every visit follows the same clinical standard, regardless of which partner vet attends.
This is not a virtual clinic platform. It stays personal, one vet, one home, one session. The network exists to make the service faster and more available, not to make it feel corporate.
Your pet is a little under the weather? Ask a vet first, it is free.
Free Consultation on WhatsAppThese are the standards we hold ourselves to, published openly because owners deserve to know how decisions about their pet are made.
Every recommendation our Prabasa vets give follows widely recognised, regularly updated veterinary guidelines. We rely on international vaccination and disease-management guidance and standard drug-dosing references, so decisions about your pet rest on a clear basis.
Every clinical claim in our blog is fact-checked against textbook or guideline sources before publication. If a claim does not have a verifiable reference, we hold the article back until we find one or revise the claim. We would rather publish less and be accurate than publish quickly and mislead.
Initial assessment via WhatsApp is free and carries no obligation. If a home visit is the right next step, we quote the fee transparently before scheduling, no surprises at the door.
For real emergencies, difficulty breathing, seizures, urinary blockage in male cats, uncontrolled bleeding, we always refer to a 24-hour clinic. A home visit cannot bring an oxygen tank, X-ray, ultrasound, or a drip. This stance follows the veterinary code of ethics, which obliges us to refer cases beyond the scope of a home setting to an appropriate facility.
Our partner veterinarians have experience in small animal practice in Indonesia, with backgrounds from accredited Faculties of Veterinary Medicine (Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan). Every partner vet goes through an internal selection process before they start accepting cases, including verification of clinical experience, communication style with owners, and commitment to current clinical guidelines.
We continuously update our knowledge by following international veterinary guidelines and current clinical literature. We are not just vets who show up at your door, we are vets who practice prudently, lean on evidence, and respect your pet as an individual rather than a case number.
Whichever partner vet attends, the clinical standard stays the same, the same examination protocol, the same guideline-based decisions, and the same respect for you and your pet.
We aim to keep travel time short. That is why we organise our coverage down to the kelurahan level rather than vaguely "Jakarta and surroundings".
A clear sense of where we should not operate is as important as where we do. These are the things we openly will not do, published so owners can decide with full information.
Procedures that need a sterile operating theatre, anesthesia monitoring, and post-op recovery space must happen at a physical clinic. We refer cases that need this.
Difficulty breathing, seizures, urinary obstruction, uncontrolled bleeding, these need oxygen tanks, X-ray, IV pumps that we cannot bring to your home. We always refer to 24-hour clinics for these.
Photos and history help with triage, but a definitive diagnosis requires physical examination, palpation, auscultation, sometimes lab work. We are honest about this gap.
Antimicrobial stewardship matters. Prescribing without examining the patient contributes to resistance and risks the wrong drug for the wrong condition. This is consistent with professional veterinary ethics.
Our advice follows what the clinical picture calls for, not what raises the bill. When watchful waiting at home is the sensible option, we say so.
No copy-paste reviews, no incentivized endorsements. We are waiting for organic stories from our ongoing Pilot Client program before featuring any testimonial.
WhatsApp is the fastest way. Email and social channels are read regularly but reply may be slower.
We read WhatsApp every day, though replies can be slower late at night. Message us to check the nearest available schedule. If your pet is facing a life-threatening emergency, go straight to the nearest 24-hour clinic, do not wait for our reply.
Free initial WhatsApp consultation. Share a photo and timeline of your pet symptoms, or simply ask whether a home visit fits your situation. We will respond honestly, including telling you when a clinic is the better call.
